South of England Men's Lacrosse Association (SEMLA)
SEMLA is the governing body of men's lacrosse in the South of England and Wales and forms part of the English Lacrosse Association. It consists of 5 Divisions incorporating nearly 50 teams playing field lacrosse. The SEMLA playing season runs from October to April.
North of England Men's Lacrosse Association (NEMLA)
NEMLA is the governing body of men's lacrosse in the North of England and forms part of the English Lacrosse Association. It consists of 5 Divisions incorporating over 50 teams playing field lacrosse. The NEMLA playing season runs from October to April.
Southern Counties Women's Lacrosse Association (SCWLA)
SCWLA is the governing body of women's lacrosse in the South of England and forms part of the English Lacrosse Association. It consists of 2 Divisions incorporating nearly 20 teams playing women's lacrosse. The SCWLA playing season runs from October to April.
Major League Lacrosse (MLL)
Major League Lacrosse is a professional men's field lacrosse league that is made up of five teams in the United States and one team in Canada. The league currently has all six teams in one conference. MLL rules differ from traditional lacrosse rules.
National Lacrosse League (NLL)
The National Lacrosse League (NLL) is the league of men's indoor lacrosse in North America. It currently has 11 teams; three in Canada and eight in the United States. Unlike other lacrosse leagues which play in the summer, the NLL plays its games in the winter. Each year, the playoff teams battle for the Champion's Cup.
