Manchester Waconians
Manchester Waconians home games take place at Didsbury
Cricket Club.
Training schedules vary time and location through out the year but mostly they take place at The Dome, their indoor facility and
Parrswood High School their outdoor facility.
Manchester Waconians are founder members of the game’s governing body, the English Lacrosse Association (ELA). They run 4 senior men’s teams playing in divisions 1, 2, 4, and 5 of ELA League North.
Their Junior programme consists of under nineteen boys team and junior teams at under 12, under 14, and under 16.
Their first team has the unique distinction of being ever present in the first, now premier, division of League North since the Club started. They have among their members three current England internationals and several past England players including two England captains, three international referees and the current England team manager.
Whilst the main thrust of the club at present is at junior level they feel the presence of elite players willing to coach and pass on their experience and expertise provides exciting motivation for children learning lacrosse.
