Nottingham lacrosse club was formed in 1965 and now play their lacrosse in NEMLA
Division 2. Throughout the clubs history the roster has been made up of Nottingham
residents coupled with Students from the cities two universities. Most of the squad
have formerly played in the Northern leagues with Manchester based clubs, which
means that the team is usually strong
The current squad contains two England U-19’s players and four others who
have been involved with the England training squad. This continues a tradition of Nottingham picking up some fine lacrosse playing students
in the past. Those of you who know names in the game may recognise the likes of
Ben McAllister, James Shuttleworth and Matt Beadle. All of who formerly played at
Nottingham whilst studying.
